Duo Maison

I’m officially playing bass for new duo group called Duo Maison. Duo MaiSon is an Indonesian duo Religious group formed by Maya Nirmala (Keyboards/vocals) and Bagus Wibisono (Vocals) in 2012.

I’ve played with Maya Nirmala during 2005 and early 2007 for her solo project. Also playing in Duo Maison is former Maya Nirmala’s drummer Iit of the Jungle..

Even though my main style of music playing is rock, but there is possibility for me to be in band / project with other genres. As recently I do to join the two following bands:

West Java Syndicate
Project from drummer Zahar Mustilaq where he invited me to join a music group project which is a blend of western music (progressive jazz) with traditional sundanese music. We played some original songs and traditional songs that we re-arrangement.

InstiTutBlues
A blues band project from Tabrak Lari Blues’ frontman John Mart. We played some covers of Cream, John Mayyal, Albert Collins etc.

I’ve made a sudden bass solo performance at James LoMenzo - Yamaha Bass Clinic at Score! Bandung. It was an awesome moment to play in front of him–since he’s one of great rock bass players. James LoMenzo has played with great bands such as White Lion, Megadeth, Black Label Society, Slash’s Snakepit and also legendary singer David Lee Roth

I played on four songs from the entire five songs Balum played
